+Assignment
As a member of the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (UCCA) Illinois, I had to create a media list for a rally on March 2, 2025. This followed the writing of a press release for the event, which was held in response to three years of Russia’s full-scale war and the recent press conference between President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President Donald Trump, and Vice President J.D. Vance.
+Approach
I gathered phone numbers from journalists and reporters who had covered previous Ukrainian events and selected the six most relevant contacts.
+Result
I created a targeted list of journalists and reporters to invite to the event.
