PRESS RELEASE
+Assignment
As a member of the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (UCCA) Illinois, I write press releases for the organization. For a rally on March 2, 2025, held in response to three years of Russia’s full-scale war and the recent press conference between President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President Donald Trump, and Vice President J.D. Vance, I was tasked with drafting a press release to secure media attendance.
+Approach
I collaborated with the President of UCCA Illinois to finalize event details and incorporate an official quote into the release.
+Result
The press release successfully secured onsite reporting from ABC 7, NBC 5, and WGN-9 News, along with coverage from the Chicago Tribune and WBBM Newsradio.
