+Assignment
During my internship with Congressman Mike Quigley, I was tasked with drafting a policy memo analyzing Donald Trump’s stance on the Russian war in Ukraine and how it contrasts with the official position of the European Union, as well as EU public perception.
+Approach
I conducted extensive historical research starting with the 1994 Budapest Memorandum and tracking the conflict's progression from 2014 to the present. I also analyzed European public opinion surveys and official statements from Trump and his administration to map out their respective viewpoints.
+Result
I developed an in-depth memo that provides a direct comparison between Trump’s and the EU's perspectives on the war. The final document utilized comprehensive research to highlight key policy differences and their potential impact on international relations.
